The Randall Scott Cycle Company cycling shorts by Castelli feature Castelli's top of the line Stratos Ultra fabric and Castelli's top of the line YPro3 multi-density chamois.
Castelli's Stratos Ultra fabric features a 75/25 blend of nylon and PowerLycra® knitted from microdenier yarns resulting in Castelli's most supple yet supportive fabric for shorts to date. The highest thread count available ensures durability without the need for a bulky fabric. The silky quality of this fabric is noticeable immediately and appreciated for many miles in the saddle.
Castelli's YPro3 multi-density chamois now incorporates Castelli’s full bi-elastic stretch with Vario-Thickness levels ranging from 2mm to 12mm with focused padding around the users soft-tissue areas. The top layer (against the skin) features a new super-soft antibacterial layer that transports moisture away from the body. The inner layer is made of Comfortemp™ phase change foam that maintains a constant 98.6º degree temperature regardless of the rider’s body heat or ambient temperature.
